You May Miss These 10 Binghamton Things If You Moved Away
I was having a conversation with a former co-worker who moved out of the Binghamton area to the southwestern part of the United States. One thing he mentioned was not thinking about some of the things he would miss that we have in the Binghamton area that he doesn't have access to where he lives.
Just the move I made from Western New York to the Binghamton area, eventually made me miss a few things from home. Things like my being minutes away from enjoying food from my favorite pizza restaurant, enjoying the thickest chocolate milkshake ever from a local ice cream stand, being around my nieces and nephews as they grew up, and spending more time with my parents and siblings
You know the saying "The grass is always greener on the other side." Well, that's not always true. I remember a conversation with a resident of Utah a few years ago, exclaiming that I must be so lucky to live in an area with so many trees and greenery. I was thinking the same of that person living in the beautiful red rock and desert of the Southwest. I thought if I moved here, would I eventually miss the beauty of the Northeast?
I bet I would eventually. And what else would I miss if I were to move away from the Binghamton area so, let's say, Utah? On the surface, you may think nothing, but I know that's not true. So, I came up with a few things I would miss if I were to move to a faraway place. Take a look and tell me if you agree.
