Nassau Man Accused of Threatening Family With Weapon in Davenport

Delaware County Sheriff’s officials say a Nassau County, New York man is accused of threatening family members with a dangerous weapon. 

Deputies responding to a domestic dispute June 1 in the Town of Davenport arrested 32-year-old Abdessamad Ellouzi of Cedarhurst on charges of menacing and criminal possession of a weapon. 

Police have not said just what weapon was allegedly involved.

Ellouzi was released following his arraignment under New York’s bail reform law and an order of protection was issued.

Ellouzi is to appear in Town of Davenport Court at a later date.
