Chris and I had a bunch of stuff planned for the holiday weekend. And for the most part we had a great weekend.

Saturday during the day we were planning on working on the landscaping project on the side of our house. We got a lot of that done, but did not finish the job. I also mowed my lawn and did the trimming and the edging.

We had to make a Home Depot run early Saturday and when we came home, a giant Branch came down off one of the trees in the backyard. It didn't do any damage, but I had to cut the branch up and get rid of it which took about an hour and a half. By the time I was all done with the yard work, I was too tired to go to Mudfest out at Tags which I've been looking forward to all month.

Sunday after church we went out for brunch with some of our friends and then did some gambling. We came home just in time for my sister, my brother-in-law, and their dog's arrival.  We had a cookout with them and then sat around the fire pit enjoying adult beverages and conversation until we decided to turn in late at night.

Monday we woke up and cooked breakfast on the grill. A short time later, my sister Gert and my brother-in-law Ed headed back home to Carbondale Pennsylvania.
Chris and I went to the Memorial Day Parade in Endicott and then to the memorial service at the park across from the high school. After that, we headed off to Conklin to make up one of our rounds from our Golf League that got rained out earlier in the season.

The couple we are playing against, Linda and Dave, were wearing the same shirt I was. The only difference was their shirts had the Conklin Players Club logo on it and mine had the USA hockey logo on it. That was not planned.

Obviously they planned I'm wearing the same shirts, but it was just a coincidence that I wore mine. We teased Chris throughout the round that she should have bought a matching shirt in the clubhouse. Here's a picture of the three of us in our shirts.
