This weekend was the closest to normal my weekends have been since the Coronavirus outbreak started.

Saturday, after I got off the air, I did a few hours of yard work. We had friends of ours stop by so we could meet their Newfoundland puppy "Eddie". They were out doing running around with him in the car and called to ask if they could stop by.

Later in the afternoon, Chris and I went to our friends house at a lake just outside Little Meadows Pennsylvania. We hung out with them and had a few drinks while practicing or social distancing.

After that, we stopped by another friend's house because their son was in town visiting with his fiance. We went over to meet his fiance and ended up sitting around a fire on their deck, enjoying drinks and conversation with them and another couple.

Yesterday, we had to makeup our golf league match from tonight because the couple we were playing couldn't make the usual Monday night tee time. So instead of just playing nine holes, we ended up playing 18 holes at Conklin.

Two more couples from our Monday night league played right behind us. After we were done, we all went to one of the couples home where we had a cookout and everybody brought a dish to pass.

We enjoyed a couple more adult beverages while we took turns telling stories of golf and talking about everything else going on in the world today. To me, it felt like things were getting back to the way they were before the Coronavirus pandemic.

It was a nice weekend to be outside enjoying fresh air and the company of friends. I hope you enjoyed your weekend as well.
