This campy, goofy sitcom featuring versions of classic horror monsters debuted on September 24, 1964 and ran through the spring of 1966.

The show's initial run didn't score that great, but went it went to syndication, it found a huge audience of fans. That includes me!

Fred Gwynne's character, Herman Munster, was hilarious and it actually cured my fear of the Frankenstein monster.

Al Lewis as Grandpa Munster (Count Dracula), helped make the show even funnier.

I have all 70 episodes on video and it's still laugh whenever I watch them.

So there you have it, my Throwback Thursday memory, 'The Munsters'.
