Towards the end of the year in 1972, I was in my senior year of high school, looking toward the finish line of my secondary school years and beginning my life as an adult. What was I thinking?

Also in late 1972, the Pure Prairie League delivered to the world, their second album titled 'Bustin' Out.' The song Fallin' In and Out of Love and Amie became the popular tunes on that album.

Amie was released as a single the following year, and many radio stations chose to start with Fallin' In and Out of Love to segue into Amie. That's what we at The Whale continue to do to this day. That song became, and remains to this day, one of my favorite songs.

For this week's Classic Rock Throwback Thursday, enjoy this great 1973 single from the Pure Prairie League.
