This show ran from 1963 to 1966 and featured the weekly adventures of identical twin cousins, different as night and day.

The sitcom was the brain child of producers Sidney Sheldon and  William Asher who had the idea of having a normal teenage girl in an American household who welcomes her cousin from Scotland who is a perfect match in looks but very poised and proper.

I never caught on to the part of the story line which said that both of their fathers were identical twins.

I remember seeing this show when I was very young, and actually believing the twin girls were two different people.

The incredible talent that made this show and many other performances so believable  passed away on Tuesday at 69. I will always think of this show when I think of Patty.
