I am a big fan of Pink Floyd. Not the biggest fan or obsessed with everything Floyd, but whenever I hear one of their songs, I stop and listen.

Is it their musical style that draws me toward their music? It's surely not their stage presence, since the guys (when they were together) don't really have much going on in the way of stage antics, and that's alright with me.

Although you have to admit, when seeing Pink Floyd in concert, there is plenty to see all around you from the props to the light show and the images on their big screens. My favorite was when they were at the Carrier Dome in Syracuse during their Division Bell tour. I was on the floor towards the back, could barely see the band, but it didn't matter. the sights and sounds were all around me, and that was good enough.

The album 'The Division Bell', their 14th album, is probably my favorite Pink Floyd album. It was released in 1994 and became a number one album in both the United States and Great Britain.

It's not easy for me to pick out my favorite song, but if pressed, I'd have to choose four -  Take It Back, Keep Talking, Lost For Words and High Hopes. All amazing songs with meaning. How many songs that come out today actually have any meaning?

For this week's Classic Rock Pick, take a moment and enjoy Pink Floyd performing High Hopes.
