Cosmos Factory – Classic Rock Pick of the Week
When I became old enough to be cognizant of the music scene, and started choosing my favorite groups, I declared Creedence Clearwater Revival as my 2nd favourite rock group. The first was the Guess Who.
The first album I purchased and subsequently scratched the hell out it after endless playings on my inferior turntable, was 'Cosmos Factory.' I'm sure my parents were tired of hearing those songs being played over and over again.
I can't really say any song was bad on that album. My favorites include Ramble Tamble, Run Through The Jungle and Long As I Can See The Light. Of course Ooby Dooby gets an honorable mention as another of my favorites.
'Cosmos Factory' was released in 1970 and was the fifth studio album created by Creedence Clearwater Revival. I love the album cover. It's one that you can describe as memorable. How many artists can make claim to that?
For this week's Classic Rock Pick, enjoy this video of John Fogerty performing my favorite - Ramble Tamble.
