One thing I do know happened on that date, The Rolling Stones latest single was Jumpin' Jack Flash. Mick and Keith wrote this gem that soared up the singles charts in the United Kingdom, the United States and many other countries, including hitting the number one spot in many countries.

Many artists have covered the song, it's been featured in shows, movies and was even the title of a movie starring Whoopie Goldberg.
