Broome Sheriff’s Office Releases Photo of Truck in Donut Shop Robbery
Broome County Sheriff’s Detectives are releasing another surveillance photo from the scene of the armed robbery January 21 of the Dunkin' Donuts restaurant on Country Club Road in the Town of Union.
Authorities are asking anyone with information about a light-colored, possibly white, Ford F-250 pickup truck with amber colored marker lights on the roof and possibly equipped with an FX4 package to contact them.
Earlier surveillance photos released by the police showed a white man in his 20s or 30s armed with what appeared to be a handgun enter the donut shop shortly after 9:30 p.m.
The man approached employees and demanded the safe be opened before making off with an undisclosed amount of money.
The suspect is thin, was wearing a tan, Carhart-style hooded jacket, what appeared to be a camouflage-patterned baseball hat, and jeans. A dark mask partially covered his face in some of the photos.
Anyone with information can call the Broome County Sheriff’s Detective Division at (607) 778-2053 or the tip line at (607) 778-1196.
