This Is New York State's Favorite Holiday Cookie [Gallery]

Delish.com recently came out with what they describe as the most iconic holiday cookie in every state. Connecticut's is the Snickerdoodle, Massachusetts is the Chocolate Chip Cookie, New Jersey's are a variety of Italian Cookies and Pennsylvania is a Sugar Cookie.

So what does Delish.com list as the favorite holiday cookie in New York? It's the Half Moon Cookie. Sure they are alright, but our state's favorite holiday cookie? Let's just agree to disagree.

I love holiday cookies. I don't know exactly why. Maybe it just brings out the holiday spirit in me. Here's my top six favorite cookies for the holidays in no particular order (Okay except the Gingerbread Cookie comes in last.)
