While not as heavily impacted as other parts of the United States, coronavirus is still something that is sticking around in the Southern Tier.

Below is a list of possible places and times flagged as potential COVID-19 exposure points in our area by our local health departments. These indicate that a person who tested positive for coronavirus was around people at a specific place and time.

American Family Fitness in Vestal -- Someone who was at the gym on September 29 from 4-6 p.m. tested positive. Self-quarantine until October 14

Skylark Diner in Vestal -- Someone who was at the diner on September 27 from 12-1:30 p.m. tested positive. Self-quarantine until October 12

Barnaby's Pub in Endwell -- Someone who was at the pub on September 25 from 5-9:30 p.m. tested positive. Self-quarantine until October 10

Abel's Pub in Binghamton --  Someone who was at the pub on September 25 from 7-11 p.m. tested positive. Self-quarantine until October 10

The Chapel in Cortland -- Someone who attended the September 21 11:30 a.m. church service tested positive. Self-quarantine until October 12.

Red Robin Gourmet Burgers in Vestal -- Someone who was at the restaurant on September 26 from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. tested positive. Self-quarantine until October 11.

Cacciatore's in Johnson City -- Someone who was at the restaurant on September 26 from 4-9 p.m. tested positive. Self-quarantine until October 11.

Old Union Hotel in Binghamton -- Someone who was at Old Union Hotel on September 21 from 4 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. tested positive. Anyone at the business during that time should self-quarantine until October 6.

Dillinger’s Celtic Pub & Eatery in Binghamton -- Someone at Dillinger's on September 19 between 11:15 p.m. and 12:30 a.m. September 20 tested positive and people at the bar during that time should self-quarantine until October 4.

Michaelangelo’s Pizzaria and Ristorante in Binghamton -- Someone at Michaelangelo's on September 20 between noon and 8 p.m. and all day on the 21 has tested positive.  Anyone at the business during that time should quarantine until October 5/6.

Antonio’s Bar and Trattaoria in Endicott -- A person at Antonio’s Bar and Trattaoria on Oak Street in Endicott September 19 from 4:30-11 p.m. tested positive.  People at that location should self-quarantine until October 4

Fountains Tavern in Johnson City -- The County Health Department says a person who was at the Fountain Tavern on CFJ Boulevard in Johnson City on September 19 has tested positive for COVID-19. Anyone at the bar between 10:30 p.m. and midnight on that date is asked to self-quarantine until October 4. Also, September 20 from 3 to 7 p.m. should self-quarantine until October 5.

The Colonial in Binghamton -- Someone who was at The Colonial on September 19 from 2-3:30 p.m. shoudl self-quarantine until October 4.

Ancient Order of Hibernians in Binghamton -- Someone at the club on September 17 from 4-6 p.m. and Sepetember 18/19 from 6-8 p.m tested positive. Self-quarantine until October 2,3,or4.

The Beef Restaurant and Pub in Binghamton -- Person at the restaurant on September 14 from 3 to 5 p.m. tested positive. Self-quarantine until September 29.

NYC-Bound Greyhound Bus from Binghamton -- If you were on the 1:30 p.m. Greyhound bus that departed from Binghamton on August 28 to New York City, you are asked to self-quarantine until September 11

Court Jester Athletic Club in Johnson City -- August 31 from 11:45 a.m. to 2 p.m. and/or September 1 from 12:20 -2:50 p.m. Self-quarantine until September 14/15

Greek House Restaurant in Westover -- August 18 between 11 a.m. and Noon. Self-quarantine until September 2

Endwell Greens Bar and Restaurant -- Two employees tested positive, one was last at the business on August 7, and the other was last there August 10. Restaurant and bar will be closed August 17-26

Berskshire Library in Berkshire -- August 4 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. Self-quarantine until August 14

McGirk's Irish Pub in Town of Chenango --July 24 from 4-9:30 p.m. and July 25 from 5:30-11 p.m. Self-quarantine until August 4/5

Men's Wearhouse in Vestal -- Person who was in the store between 6-7 p.m. tested positive, Self-quarantine until August 4

Applebee's in Town of Dickinson -- July 17 from 12:15-7:30 p.m. and July 18 from 3-7:30 p.m. Self-quarantine until August 1

Wingz in Endicott -- July 15 from 6-7:30 p.m. Self-quarantine until July 29

Manni's Donuts and Diner in Binghamton -- July 14 from 7:45-8:30 a.m.. Self-quarantine until July 28

Olive Garden In Vestal -- July 13 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and July 14 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Self-quarantine until July 27/28

Blue Dolphin Restaurant in Apalachin -- July 12 from 1-2:30 p.m. Self-quarantine until July 26

Broome-Tioga Motorcross in Lisle -- July 12 from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Self-quarantine until July 26

Walton First Baptist Church in Walton -- Church service and church event on Sunday, July 12

The Triumphant Life Church in Endwell -- Church service on July 12. Self-quarantine until July 26

Tioga County Wedding -- Rehearsal dinner on July 10 at The Cellar Restaurant and Bar in Owego from 6-9 p.m., wedding on July 11 at Cornerstone At W&W. Self-quarantine until July 24/25

The Brickyard Endwell in Endwell -- July 11 between 6-7 p.m. Self-quarantine until July 25

Pete's Legacy Diner in Vestal -- July 10 from noon-1 p.m., Self-quarnatine until July 24

Topper Eatery and Saloon in Binghamton  -- July 10 between 9:30 p.m. and midnight. self quarantine until July 24

Nip’s Park Avenue Saloon in Binghamton -- July 6 from 6:30-8 p.m. Self-quarantine until July 20

Applebee's in Town of Dickinson -- July 5 from noon-4 p.m. Self-quarantine until July 19

Church of the Holy Family in Endwell -- 9:30 a.m. mass on July 5. Self-quarantine until July 19

Independence Day Party in Binghamton -- July 4 at 82 Front Street. Self-quarantine until July 18

Lee's Nail Salon in Binghamton -- June 28-June 3. Self-quarantine for two weeks after potential exposure

Vestal Farmers' Market in Vestal -- June 27 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Self-quarantine until July 11

COVID-19 has the potential to be fatal, with a nearly four percent mortality rate in the United States as of writing, according to the CDC. That may not seem like a big percentage, but keep in mind that if everyone in t he United State got coronavirus, based on current rates, there would be 12,799,800 deaths.

That's not to say every case is a worst scenario. Those who have coronavirus can have no symptoms to very mild symptoms. Still, you never know who may have a preexisting condition that may make fighting COVID-19 extremely difficult or impossible for them.
