No major crashes are reported and fears of ice-covered power lines coming down have not materialized with New York State Electric and Gas reporting no power interruptions for its entire service area for the duration of the storm.  But motorists and pedestrians are reminded of slick conditions.

A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 1 p.m. for Broome, Tioga, Susquehanna and Bradford Counties and until 6 p.m. for Delaware and Wayne Counties.

Again, Chenango and Cortland Counties are not under the advisory area but Emergency Services officials in Norwich said the crews were out treating the roads overnight.

The National Weather Service says the advisory area could pick up one to three inches of snow before the precipitation tapers off in the early afternoon.  Snowfall rates at the most, could peak at less than an inch an hour before the snow stops from west to east.
