I spent my Labor Day weekend having fun, except for when I had to work. Friday night my wife and I and some friends of ours, went to the Luma Festival in Downtown Binghamton. We had a great time. We also went out for dinner prior to that event.

Saturday we drove down to Mansfield to visit my step-son who's in his senior year there. We went down and hung out with him for awhile and treated him to dinner. We had to bring him stuff that he forgot to bring with him to college. We ate at a cool Brew Pub down there called Yorkholo.

Sunday we went to church, then out for breakfast, and then helped at our church counting the collections. Then I had to work from noon till 5. After work, we lounged around the house and had dinner at home.

Monday after work, we went and picked up my wife's 90 year old Aunt from the nursing home where she lives, and took her to the Rumble Ponies Regular-Season finale. It was a beautiful day for a baseball game Sunny with the highs in the upper 70s. So it wasn't too hot, it was very comfortable sitting there drinking beer watching our Rumble Ponies get tuned up for the playoffs.

All in all it was very nice Labor Day for me. I hope yours was great too.
