According to a news release from Kopernik, this is the first of several blood drives they will hold to help our community keep blood supplies at a safe level.

The pandemic has taken drastically reduced blood donations, and all our encouraged to participate in Thursdays Blood drive.

Each pint of blood collected can help save up to three lives, and the American Red Cross is in need of your help.

Donating blood is a way to make an impact on the people in our neighborhoods, you’ll be helping to save lives, and touch others by giving the gift of life.

When you donate to the Thursday drive you will receive a complimentary ticket to come back to Kopernik on a Friday night, for some night sky observing through the Kopernik telescopes

Kopernik is also giving all donors a chance to win one of five $1000 e-gift cards to a merchant of their choice, and a chance to win a trip for four to the 2022 Indianapolis 500.

Every two seconds someone in the US needs blood.
