The Kopernik Observatory and Science Center is doing something different this week as they partner with the American Red Cross for their first blood drive.
The Red Cross Facebook page notes that when you give blood, you could be helping to save the life of a child, maybe someone who has just been in an accident or someone who is fighting cancer.
If you're healthy and have about half an hour to spare today, you're invited to make a blood donation that could help save the life of a fellow neighbor.
What would you do if you or a loved one needed blood and the Red Cross ran out? The 5 day blood drive takes place this weekend at the Oakdale Mall in J.C.
Wyatt Archer-Forbes Plea is a 6-month-old baby boy from Endicott with cancer. You can help him and others like him Saturday! Please donate blood at the mall.
Snowstorms limit the ability of the Red Cross to collect blood. Here is a story about a young boy from our area that you can help by rolling up your sleeve.
If someone you know needed an hour of your time to save their life, would you donate your time? Of course, you would. That's all it takes to save lives.
