Greatest Rock Guitarist Weekend

Even though we were more than knee deep in snow this week, Jim Free and I still had to take a few minutes to come up with a weekend theme. What's a weekend on The Whale without one anyway?

Jim's first thought was a greatest American beer weekend. A good idea for sure, but I had to remind him were talking themes centering around the Classic Rock music we play, not the bubbly we tend to enjoy on a daily basis. The idea did give me pause, but I couldn't come up with anything. Maybe a drinking game every time our hourly double-shots aired? Well, we can't officially condone that practice.

At any rate, this weekend, we will play hourly double-shots of tunes from bands who have among them, some of the best guitarists in the world. From time to time over the weekend, we'll honor some solo artists who can jam on a guitar.
