A Broome County Court judge has handed down a lengthy prison sentence to a town of Union resident who was convicted on ten drug-related charges.

49-year-old Bilal Flynn of Endwell was sentenced Wednesday to nine years on charges that were filed following a June 2019 raid at a home on Sherman Drive in Endwell.

Investigators said they found heroin and cocaine when they executed a search warrant at the residence. They said $959 in suspected drug sale proceeds and drug packaging materials also were confiscated.

Flynn was convicted in February of eight counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and two counts of criminally using drug paraphernalia.

Flynn was arrested by the Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force.

In addition to the prison time, Flynn was sentenced to three years parole.
