Doug’s Got Ya Covered Video of the Week [WATCH]

Written by Iggy Pop and David and originally recorded by Iggy Pop in 1977, the song was inspired by Pop's encounter with a beautiful Vietnamese woman.

The song did very little for Iggy pop and never charted.

David Bowie recorded and released the song on his 1983 album 'Let's Dance' it hit number 10 in the United States and number 2 in the UK.

The video features New Zealand model Geeling Ng, and paints a message against racism.

It also reenacts the famous beach scene from the movie 'From Here to Eternity'
