Crews Respond to House Fire in Newark Valley
Firefighters from Tioga and Broome County as well as other support responders are working at a reported house fire in Newark Valley.
The blaze at 6952 State Highway 38 was reported shortly before 4:30 a.m. August 5 and tanker trucks and other equipment from neighboring jurisdictions were requested at the scene moments later.

The home is located between Marine Road and Lawrence Road.
Authorities are requesting motorists avoid the area.
There were no early reports concerning any injuries.
Tioga County Emergency Services officials could provide no further details.
