Classic Rock A to Z Is Winding Down

Today is day 11 of our Classic Rock A to Z here on 99.1 The Whale. Where we play every song in our library in alphabetical order. I know this has been a yearly feature here on the Whale, but it was the first time I was part of it.

It should wrap up sometime tomorrow afternoon or so I’ve been told. It’s a pretty cool feature. I heard some songs that I forgot all about. When I saw the ZZ Top song Stages last week I was blown away. It took me back to when the song was first released. That was the first time I heard that song in years.

I really only screwed up once. I pushed the wrong start button and played a song out of order but I don’t think anyone noticed.

Next year to make sure I don’t skip anything, I think I’m going to invest in the letter magnets in the photo and put them up in the studio.

Maybe next year to change it up we should do it backwards from Z to A. What do you think?
