The Whale Time Machine is revved up and ready to go for this week's time travel back to when all this rock-n-roll was new. Can you imagine actually having the ability to do that? I'd probably screw something up that would change the direction of the entire world for the future because I'm a clutz.

Anyway, back on this day in 1985, which is the date we're aiming for, the rock group Dire Straits were hot off a new album titled 'Brothers In Arms.' That album sat on top of the album chart in the US for nine glorious weeks. The album had big success in many other countries around the world.

The songs on the album were nothing less than stellar, including Money For Nothing, Walk Of Life and So Far Away. I remember the first time I saw the video for Money For Nothing, with the animation depicting the Beverly Hillbillies. That continues to be one of my all time favorite music videos.

For this week's Classic Rock Pick, let's head over to a concert in 1985 as the Dire Straits perform Money for Nothing at Wembley Arena in London England. It is one awesome performance.
