Why was 1973 so full of great releases in the rock (and pop) world? Was it because the record companies knew I was graduating from high school, so as a gift, they decided to pull out all the stops with the world's best rock artists to come out with their best music efforts?
Sadly, no.

But never-the-less, my senior year was filled with classics from The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, The Eagles, Styx, Pink Floyd, Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Who, Golden Earring, Bachman-Turner Overdrive and so many more.

This weekend, we honor the rock scene from 1973 and those artists who made it a great year musically, with hourly double-shots of their tunes. Dig out your bell-bottom jeans and let's rock on!
