The 5th Annual "Run For Your Heart Coal House 5K" will take place this Sunday, April 17th, 1:00pm at the Vestal Coal House. Proceeds benefit the American Heart Association.

This is a USATF Certified 5K NY14087JG. There will be awards for overall and age group winners.  Register here at eventbrite.com or print a form at triplecitiesrunnersclub.org. Pre-registration with a shirt is $22 and pre-registration without a shirt is $15 and ends 4/15. Race day registration is $25.

  • On Friday, April 15, join the Binghamton Zoo at the Floyd L. Maines Veterans Memorial Arena for Zoo night with the Binghamton Senators as they take on the Hershey Bears. One of our American alligators will be making the ceremonial puck drop and our ZooMobile will be on-site during intermission for everyone to meet our furry and scaly friends! Ticket information is now available at https://bsens.formstack.com/forms/zoo. $2 from every ticket will be donated to the zoo when purchased through the specific zoo night form.
  • The Oxford Fire Station will hold a spaghetti dinner benefit for Mindy and Trevor Natoli on Saturday, April 16th from 5 to 8PM. Free will donation at the door and $8 pre-order takeout. All proceeds will go directly to Mindy and Trevor for medical costs, travel expenses, etc. If interested in takeout please email preorders@oxfordfd.com and for more information email benefit@oxfordfd.com.
  • Visions Federal Credit Union will host Monte Carlo Night 2016 at The Binghamton Club, 83 Front Street, on Friday April 22 from 6 to 10 PM. Tickets are $30 per person with all proceeds to benefit the Family Enrichment Network. For more information call Shannon at 607-723-8313 extension 847.
  • The Whitney Point American Legion Auxiliary Post 974, located at 119th street in Whitney Point, is having a lasagna dinner on April 16th from 5 to 7PM. Proceeds will go to a local veteran. Tickets are $8 for adults, $7 for veterans, with proper ID, and $5 for children 5 to 12 years old. Children under 5 eat free. For more information please contact Carol at 607-768-4575.
