Nirvana scored a big hit when the album 'Nevermind' came out in 1991. I remember the excitement we all experienced listening to that album the first time, and again and again.

Smells Like Teen Spirit. Come As You Are and Lithium led the pack of amazing songs, although there is not a bad song on that album in my opinion.

On this date - August 17th, 1991, Nirvana was in the studio shooting the video for Smells LIke Teen Spirit. That video was an inexpensive shoot compared to most and picked up several awards.
