Pennsylvana State Police Look for Suspect in Susquehanna Robbery Attempt
Pennsylvania State Police say they're looking for a man who tried unsuccessfully to hold up a Susquehanna gas station and convenience store armed with a tire iron.
Authorities say the white man entered the Hinds Ho-Mart Gulf gas station and store on East Main Street in Susquehanna at around 10 p.m. August 9 and walked around the counter with a tire iron, demanding the clerk give him money.
Troopers say the clerk grabbed the tire iron and sprayed the suspect in the face with mace.
The would-be robber ran off empty-handed.
The suspect is described as standing 5'4"-5'8" tall. He appears to be middle age and had brown hair. He was wearing a blue surgical mask a "high-viz" florescent yellow t-shirt with the sleeves rolled up and shorts.
