The New York Giants will once again take on the role as possible spoilers as they host the unbeaten champion New England Patriots on Sunday afternoon, coverage begins at 3:25pm on 991 The Whale.

Giants fans are all too familiar with Tom Brady and the New England Patriots, we have seen them in the last two Giants super bowl victories, both close games.

Both Eli Manning and Tom Brady are playing very well, the key difference between the teams is the Patriots have won the close ones, and the Giants have let three close ones get away in the 4th quarter, and they were games we should have won.

The Giants have established a better running game over the past few weeks, and from my arm chair they will need to continue that to win the time of possession, and keep Brady and the offense off the field.

Big Blue's defense needs to cause turnovers and they can do it, the Giants lead the NFL in both takeaways (21) and turnover differential (plus-12).

JPP has returned on the defense and they will need some pressure from the D-line to force Brady into getting rid of the ball before his receivers can get open, a few sacks and some knock downs wouldn't hurt either.

Both teams have injuries, we all know that is part of the game, look for lots of offense once again I think this is going to be a high scoring game

The Giants are in first place in the NFC East, just one game in front of the Eagles, this is an important game as they head into a BYE week.

Catch all the action Sunday at 3:25pm, and keep it here after the game for coach Coughlin’s press conference and team interviews on your station for NY Giants Football, 99.1 The Whale.

Go Giants!
