Yesterday, Sunday, was my birthday. I pretty much celebrated all weekend long.

On Friday night, we went to Spiedie Fest where we grabbed some dinner and checked out some of the Starship set.

I had a live broadcast at Olums on Saturday, but Chris and I went down to my sister's place afterward to drop something off. We decided on the way there that we would pick up pizza to take to her house, so I got to enjoy my favorite pizza in the world.

We made it to my sister's house and had the pizza and then she surprised me with a cake and a lottery ticket that I actually won $30 on.

Sunday I woke up and went to church. During mass, I actually had our priests single me out in front of the whole congregation to wish me a happy birthday. That was pretty embarrassing. It was a Whale listener that tipped our priest off. Needless to say I won't be playing anymore requests for him (haha!).

Then we did some volunteer work at the church. I was joking saying I wasn't going to do it after being made the center of attention, for a couple of seconds anyway during mass, but I kept my commitment and volunteered like I said I would.

Once we were all done at the church, Chris and I joined two other couples at Tioga Downs where we had brunch and watch the horses run for a while.

Chris and I were going to catch Kansas at Spiedie Fest yesterday afternoon, but we didn't get back in time.

Other than missing my birthday party with the band Kansas, it was an awesome weekend that went exactly as planned.
