Enjoy It While It Lasts

Last night my wife and I decided to go out for dinner. We went to a restaurant that offers outdoor seating. When the hostess asked if we wanted to sit inside or outside, my wife and I looked at each other and at the same time, said outside. My comment to the hostess was the days of eating outside are numbered so we should enjoy it while we can. And we did. We had a nice quiet dinner outdoors on the patio in nice summer like temperatures. All I kept thinking was in a month or two from now it will probably be too cold to sit outside and enjoy dinner.

With all the crazy weather this summer, and even so far in the fall, including the hurricanes down south, the heat waves and the fires out west and even all the snow we had back in this winter, it was nice to just sit out on the patio overlooking the river and have a nice dinner. It truly is the simple things in life that make us happy.

Whatever outdoor activities make you happy, get out and do them. This nice weather won't last much longer.
