An Endicott resident faces felony charges after he allegedly broke into a former girlfriend's home and demanded to speak to her.

Authorities say the incident happened on Watson Boulevard in the town of Union Sunday.

According to the sheriff's office, 37-year-old Jermaine Plummer of Tracy Street is accused of damaging a doorbell device when he left the residence. He also allegedly smashed a window at a home across the street.

Investigators believe Plummer also stole items from a vehicle that had been parked nearby.

Plummer was taken into custody by sheriff's deputies a short time later. He allegedly used a chair to cause damage in a sheriff's department interview room.

Plummer was charged with burglary, criminal mischief and criminal contempt. He also was charged with petit larceny and possession of stolen property.

Plummer was arraigned and ordered held at Broome County Jail.
