City of Binghamton Police are releasing video and still photos of a person they want to talk to in connection with the ongoing problem of graffiti along the banks of the Chenango River.

Police have posted on Facebook images of a white man who appears to be in his 20s wearing jeans, a dark quilted jacket and a backpack walking on the Riverwalk. Authorities say the man is a person of interest in regards to a graffiti incident that happened at around 8:26 a.m. on New Year’s Eve. The man has short dark hair and may have a thin mustache and/or goatee.

City Police for months have been investigating incidents of spray paint on the walls, art installations and other structures along the Riverwalk/ Doctor Martin Luther King Promenade as well as nearby Confluence Park where the Chenango River meets the Susquehanna River at Riverside Drive,

Video of the subject can be seen at the Binghamton Police Facebook page.
