The Binghamton July Fest & Jazz Festival Returns For 2023
The Southern Tier of New York summer festivals are coming fast and furious. That's a good thing! It's one of the things we all love about the summer season.
Broome County has a lot to offer, including fairs, community festivals, the annual Spiedie Fest & Balloon Rally, Dick's Sporting Goods Open and many more outdoor events set throughout the season for all to enjoy.
There's one popular area festival that has not been around for a while, but it's making a return this summer. The Downtown Binghamton July Fest and Jazz Festival. If I recall, the last time July Fest took the stage in Downtown Binghamton, it was before the pandemic.
According to the Downtown Binghamton Business Association, the July Fest Binghamton and Jazz Festival will be July 7th, 8th and 9th. this year is the 59th edition, set up on the Downtown Binghamton section of Court Street, Washington Street and the Metrocenter Plaza.
The Downtown Binghamton Business Association notes that the 3 day event will feature over 30 art and 30 craft vendors, a kids art zone, Parlor City 5K run plus a Kids Run. Of course there will be many vendors set up along the Downtown Binghamton streets offering many food choices and cool stuff to buy.
Music will fill the air in Downtown Binghamton over the three days as several acts will take to the M&T stage at the intersection of State and Court Streets to perform each day beginning on Friday July 7th. The July Fest Binghamton and Jazz Festival will be open beginning at 10 am each day, ending at 5 pm on Sunday July 9th.
