The session from 7:30 a.m.-9:30 a.m. will look into the positive and negative trade-offs for law enforcement if recreational weed is legal.

Speakers will include Endicott Police Chief Patrick Garey, Brian Kittle of the Broome County Sheriff’s Office, clinical assistant professor William Eggleston and Christina Olevano of the Tioga County ASAP Coalition.

Previous sessions discussed how legalization could impact employment/employee issues and healthcare.  A final session on June 14th is to talk about the possible positive and negative economic impact of legalizing marijuana.

The cost for the event is $15 for Chamber of Commerce members.
