American Hockey League Suspends Play
The American Hockey League (AHL) announced today that play is being suspended until further notice due to the COVID-19 virus. Concerns over the safety and health of players, coaches, officials, staff and fans led to the decision. It follows in line with the previous announcement that the NHL is also suspending play indefinitely.
In a news release from the Binghamton Devils it was stated that team officials along with the AHL were continuing to monitor the situation. The Devils asked fans to follow them on social media where any ticket information or scheduling updates will be posted.
Additional ticket information will be made available to those who have purchased single-game tickets through Ticketmaster. Postponed game information as well as any rescheduled events will be posted or sent via email to those who purchased tickets. Anyone who seeks more information can call the Binghamton Devils at 607-722-7367.
Binghamton is riding a seven-game winning streak and was scheduled to play at Laval on Friday and Saturday before returning home to host Lehigh Valley on Wednesday night.
