11 Years of Wedding Bliss

This Saturday is my 11th. wedding anniversary. Chris and I got married on 7/7/07 so it will be an easy date for me to remember. When it comes to drinks, I like 7 & 7's so that was one of the reasons we chose that date. Another reason we went with July 7th, was because the 4th of July would serve as a reminder that my anniversary is right around the corner.

Last year we celebrated our 10th. anniversary by going to Lake Placid for an extended weekend. This year, we have a graduation party to go to and then another friend is throwing a party at his house and we plan on going to that as well. We were talking about what we wanted to do to celebrate our anniversary. Being that we are putting money aside to go on vacation in a couple of weeks, we decided that we would just go out for a nice quiet romantic dinner. We have yet to decide when or where that dinner would take place, but I'm sure we will be doing that soon.

At some point, we would like to go back to Jamaica for our anniversary. That's where we went on our honeymoon and we had an incredible time. We stayed at one of those all-inclusive resorts with the food and drinks included, and it was the trip of a lifetime. Just about every day we spent in Jamaica we went on an excursion or did something we couldn't do here in Binghamton. We climbed Dunn's Rivers Falls, we went horseback riding through the sea, we went white water tubing, and I even did some cliff jumping while taking a break on an ATV tour. Who knows, maybe that will be where we go to celebrate our 15th anniversary in a couple of years.
