Hey there! I'm Holly Dagger from afternoon on 99.1 The Whale! I'm originally from Syracuse so I'm used to tons of snow and of course I'm a big Syracuse Orangemen fan. I love all different kinds of rock music from Led Zeppelin to Tool to Lettuce! I've been a dancer for over 20 years and I'll let you decide if that's a ballerina or a stripper kind of dancer....either way, I know how to have a good time! I tend to get a little crazy sometimes and often get into some odd situations as a result but my motto is - No Regrets! Listen to me weekdays from 3-7pm during the Holly Dagger Happy Hour on 99.1 The Whale!

Ian Rubbish (Fred Armisen) Interviews The Clash On Saturday Night Live
Having read a lot of books on the history of punk, I find this video extremely amusing. Punk is a lot of different things, as is every musical genre but of course one of them is being original and innovative. Every one wants to say they did it first...
Eclectic Rock Pick of the Week: HAIM
HAIM is an American rock band with a bit of R&B, 70's vibe and folk mixed in. The Los Angelos based group includes three sister; Este, Danielle and Alana with drummer Dash Hutton.
All three sister play multiple instruments and were part of the family band, Rockinhaim when they were younger. Da...
Local Band RevelationNow Performs Pantera’s ‘Walk’
Here is a clip of RevelationNow performing Pantera's 'Walk' at their October 5th show. Keep in mind, this was recorded when the singer was sick and it's still amazing! Man these guys can rock.
Thank you phone for cutting the video off right before the chorus...
Where Did Vampires Come From?
There is not of course, just one solid tale of where vampires came from or how they originated. Bram Stoker's Dracula may be the most famous but he was certainly not the first to come up with the concept. This leaves us wondering, where did this myth come from...
Movie Review: A Haunting at Silver Falls
The Haunting at Silver Falls was much more interesting than The Eternal! I would highly recommend this movie.
A young girl in high school moves in with a new family in a new town after her parents die. She meets a boy, attends a party and is told that some people in the area claim that Silver Falls is haunted...
Pumpkin Carving Patterns
I love carving different and semi intricate designs into my pumpkins. The websites below give you ideas or you can just print the designs off and trace them yourself. I typically look at the design and draw it freehand myself onto the pumpkin but tracing is probably easier...
Erotica of the Week: Two Girls Demonstrate How to Kiss
Alright let's be honest for a second. Not everyone is a phenomenal kisser. Some people just don't get it.
The other obvious thing about this video is that it is two women or shall we specifically say, Playmates. Now, I don't really need to know how you feel about gay rights but seriously, women are just way more attractive than men...
Drink of the Week: Pumpkin and Apple Cider Cocktail
I absolutely love anything to do with Halloween, and of course that includes drinks. This drink sounds like the perfect mix of apple and pumpkin. Can't wait to try it this weekend! Stay tuned for more Halloween related drinks!
Eclectic Rock Pick of the Week: Placebo
Alternative rock band Placebo formed in England in 1994. Founders Brian Molko and Stefan Olsdal met at a tube station and started talking after Molko noticed the guitar strapped to Olsdal's back. They hit it off, Olsdal went to see one of Molko's shows shortly after their meeting and the two formed Ashtray Heart...
