  • There is a spaghetti dinner and Chinese auction to benefit Ian McDonnell, who is in need of medical assistance to manage Type 1 Diabetes, at the West Endicott Fire Station on October 24th from 3 to 7pm. For more information contact Nicole Johnson at 624-0139.
  • There is a chicken barbeque on October 25th from 10am until sold out at All Saints Church, 42 Harry L. Drive, Johnson City. Cost is six dollars for half chicken only.
  • Thompson United Methodist Church, 586 Main Street, Thompson, PA is having a Roast Beef Supper on October 24th beginning at 4:30 for take-out; 5pm for eat-ins. Donation is eleven dollars for adults, 5-50 for children 6 to 12, children 5 and under are free.
  • There is a rummage and bake sale on October 24th at Little Meadows United Methodist Church, 843 Pennsylvania Ave from 9 to 2 with a bag sale at one. Lunch will be available.
  • Saint Paul’s Episcopal Church, 200 Jefferson Ave, Endicott, is having a rummage and bake sale on October 24th from 9 to 3, with a bag sale from one to three.
  • Immanuel Presbyterian Church is having a home-made soup, bread and pie luncheon on October 24th beginning at 1pm. Donation six dollars.
  • The Knights of Columbus Council 206 is holding their Annual Turkey Party, October 30th from 7 to 10pm at the K of C Hall, 136 Park Ave, Binghamton. Door prizes, free refreshments and snacks. Six dollar donation.
  • Sanitaria Springs Fire Company is having a Ham & Turkey Raffle on October 24th at 7pm with doors opening at 6. Food and drink. Five dollar donation at the door.
  • There is a benefit for Pat Hayes, who is battling lung cancer, on November 1st from 2 to 6pm at the Elk’s Lodge, 619 North Nanticoke Ave, Endicott. Ten dollar spaghetti dinner, plus live bands.   • Ross Corners Community is collecting donations of bottled water, Gatorade, coffee, hot cocoa, granola bars and sandwich crackers for Vestal Fire Station Number 3 on October 31st during Trunk or Treat, or drop off items at Ross Corners Baptist Church, 2101 Owego Road, Vestal.
  • Nimmonsburg United Methodist Church, 918 Upper Front Street, Binghamton, hosts a Halloween Spooktacular, October 31st from 3 to 6pm. Food, Beverages, Bake Sale, Trunk or Treat, Costume Parade and more. Rain or shine. Chow donations appreciated.
  • Mystery Dinner Theater returns to Owego United Methodist Church, 261 Main Street, Owego, November 6th and 7th at 6pm with “Murder at the Banquet.” For more information call the church office at 687-2417.
