Bethel Woods Museum Again One Of The Best In The USA
Are you ready for summer yet? Even spring can't arrive soon enough. But we will be basking in warmer temperatures soon enough.
And with that, many of us are looking forward to the spring and summer concert season. It seems every day we are hearing about another band or artist announcing an exciting 2026 tour. It's hard to decide which ones to check out, but that's a good thing!
So, here's a question. Is Johnny Cash more popular than Woodstock? You may think that's an odd question, but I have my odd reason for asking.
That's because when it comes to the best museums in the USA, one featuring Johnny Cash beat out one featuring Woodstock and the 1960s era for the number one spot.

USA Today's 10Best recently conducted a poll for the best music museums in the USA. And once again, the Museum at Bethel Woods in Bethel, NY, home of the original 1969 Woodstock Arts and Music Festival, rose to the top (well alomost), taking 2nd place honors. That's quite an honor, considering the museum was up against many great music museums across America!
The cool thing about the Museum at Bethel Woods is that it's not just about Woodstock, although everything to do with Woodstock is there to see and learn about, the museum is also all about the life and times of the entire 1960s era.
The Museum at Bethel Woods takes you back to what America was like back then, and maybe brings back memories for those who lived through the 60s. Definitely worth the short drive east to Bethel, New York, to check out, and you will see why every year, it's voted as one of the best of the best music museums in the country.
The top honor went to the Johnny Cash Museum, which is located in Nashville, Tennessee. Kudos to the Man in Black.
