If your a fan of the hit show Home Improvements, we have GREAT news!

At some point in the 90's you had someone in your life, like me, that was running around yelling "GRRRRRughUUURRRR"when we were talking about something "manly". The awful grunting sound was made famous by the TV show Home Improvements and it's star Tim the Tool Man Taylor.

If you've never watched the show, anytime Tim would talk about something manly, involving tools or large construction equipment, he would grunt away and after a while, the grunting caught on and guys everywhere were doing it.

The "grunt" is coming back to TV in 2021 and Al is coming along as well!! According to Variety, a Home Improvement reunion is set to happen soon, sort of. The show will be called "Assembly Required" starring both Tim Allen and Richard Karn.

The show will be more of a competition type show than a sitcom, and will feature some of the best builders from all across the country competing from their home workshops to breathe new life into everyday household items that are in desperate need of fixing.

Where did the idea of show like this come from? Allen told Variety that, "Let’s face it, we’re living in a throwaway society, we buy, break, replace… rinse and repeat. Whatever happened to repair and rebuild?! There are some people who unfriend, unfollow and dispose of anything that offends, annoys or breaks – so I’ve created a show to remind people of the satisfaction and pride that comes from rebuilding something on their own."

The show will air sometime in 2021 on the History channel and during each episode the hosts will also talk in depth about the unique history about the item that was fixed on the show. They will also celebrate the men and women who had a part in crafting the item.
