Sheriff's deputies in Delaware County discovered more than ten pounds of marijuana in a vehicle pulled over for speeding.

Authorities say 24-year-old Mohammed Rahman of Woodside, Queens was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs and criminal possession of marijuana.

Rahman also faces other charges, including aggravated unlicensed operation and criminal possession of a controlled substance.

According to the Delaware County Sheriff's Office, a vehicle operated by Rahman was stoped Tuesday afternoon on Route 268 in the town of Hancock.

According to a news release, deputies found marijuana and a controlled substance in the vehicle.

Rahman was arraigned in Hancock village court and sent to Delaware County Jail on $15,000 bail.
