You can hear more about Senator Akshar’s work in Albany and how the past year with the COVID-19 pandemic has changed the dynamics of the politics in the state this Sunday February 28th on the weekly, local public affairs program: Southern Tier Close Up.  The Senator talks about policing, his current community survey that’s underway and what is done with information collected in those surveys and at Town Hall meetings like the ones scheduled for March 1st at 6:30 p.m.

He even reveals the “deal breaker” issue he won’t budge on, even if it would cost him an election.

Southern Tier Close Up is heard Sundays at 6 a.m. on 99.1 The Whale.
