A Hazardous Weather Outlook says thunderstorms July 17 carry a potential of strong, damaging winds and torrential rain that could cause isolated flash flooding.

Meanwhile, heat and humidity could make it feel like as much as 105 degrees in the valleys July 19-20.  The National Weather Service says it could still feel like the 90's into July 21.

As for some of the storms that brought downpours to the region in the afternoon July 16, Emergency Services officials and New York State Electric and Gas reported no serious issues.

However, early July 17, NYSEG’s website indicated over 400 customers in Deposit and Hancock in Broome and Delaware County had been without electricity.
