Last week, I wrote an article about how I don't get out much during the non-camping months, which for me is November through April. I don't ski, snowboard, go snowmobiling or other outdoor activities during the snow and cold months.

Yes, those activities are fun I'm sure, but not for me. I like warmth, and therefore I kind of hibernate during winter months. Well, that is when I'm not at work.

A couple of weeks ago, I broke that mold, deciding to visit the Corning Museum of Glass and try a make your glass project. I chose to design a nightlight plate. It turned out alright. I guess looking at it, I could have done some sort of pattern or used different colors, but what do I know?

All in all, it turned out to be a fun trip on less than a tank, as we like to call it. Maybe I need to try more of these adventures this winter. I'm sure there's plenty of winter month activities I'd enjoy, although I do like the couch potato idea. Check out my completed project!
