Maine Woman Accused of Cashing Forged Checks

A Town of Maine woman faces several felony counts after Broome County Sheriff’s detectives say she allegedly cashed forged checks.

Authorities say 33-year-old Cinnamon Peppin is charged with felony count of Forgery, Identity Theft and Grand Larceny.

Investigators say last month Peppin allegedly cashed forged checks worth over $1,000.

She was arrested on Tuesday, January 4.
