The LUMA Projection Arts Festival has been dazzling the Downtown Binghamton area and thousands of people since 2015. Sadly, last year (2020) the festival had to be cancelled due to the pandemic, although the organizers were able to put togehter a cool virtual online showing, so it wasn't a complete cancellation, just a different way of enjoying the magic.

Well, the good news for this year is that the LUMA Projection Arts Festival is back on in Downtown Binghamton, and as always, promises to be bigger than better than ever. How they do that, is just amazing considering how awesome the projections have been over the past few years.

Now this year's festival, according to the LUMA Projection Arts Festival website, will require you to obtain tickets to the festival which is designed to help prevent overcrowding, health concerns and safety. The good news is, the tickets are free.

There will be three showing times on Friday September 10th and Saturday September 11th. You choose the day and time you want to go.The LUMA Projection Arts Festival website lists the duration time of one hour and fifteen minutes per showing, and it's an event for the entire family. There wll be several features to enjoy on the evening you choose to attend.

In my opinion, this is one of the most exciting events to happen in the Southern Tier of New York. Really, how many cities in the U.S. or even the world for that matter have such asn event as LUMA? Very few.

Visit the LUMA Projection Arts Festival website for complete information on the two day event along with making your free reservation for what will most certainly be another fun event in Downtown Binghamton.
