Back in the day, remember when we used to get to rock out at several concerts each year in the Binghamton area? Sure, times have changed, and as the years have gone by, we've seen fewer rock acts make a stop in the Binghamton area due to various reasons.

But we still do get to enjoy live rock-n-roll in Binghamton from national acts, including the annual Spiedie fest & Balloon Rally, along with local music venues booking rock artists and bands for us to enjoy.

Recently Dokken came to town at Touch of Texas, and soon, Lita Ford will be rocking the same stage located in the Northgate Plaza, Upper Front Street, Binghamton. Lita Ford has been on eh rock scene since 1975 and was one of five members of The Runaways from 1975 to 1979.

Lita has been rocking ever since and will be making a stop at Touch of Texas On December 15th. 99.1 The Whale's Matt Guido got a chance to chat with Lita recently, including a conversation with an interesting story about her first job as a teenager, how she first got started playing the guitar, and her collection of Mini Acoustic Guitars and if writing and recording new music on the horizon.
