One of my early favorite rock bands was the Steve Miller Band. Their album 'Book of Dreams'came out in 1977, which was the year I arrived in the Binghamton area for the first time. I'd have to say 'Winter Time' is my favorite song on that album.

The friends I made at the time were enthralled by this album and had it cranked wherever we were. We couldn't get enough of this album and the album 'Fly Like An Eagle.' The song 'Wild Mountain Honey' is my favorite on 'Fly Like An Eagle.'

The Steve Miller Band's 'Greatest Hits 1974-78" received the RIAA Diamond Award. Over 15 million copies were sold, and the album is one of the 25 best-selling albums of all time.

And listening to these tunes live, Steve Miller takes them to another level. Luckily Steve Miller is still touring, and he's making a stop at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts on Sunday, July 2nd.

It's going to be a great show and to make it even better, Joe Satriani will be the special guest, so you know the guitars will be rocking that stage throughout the show.
