Last Chance to See Some Artists

This week both Elton John and Lynyrd Skynyrd announced that their next tours will be their last. I've seen Skynyrd a handful of times and they always put on a great show. But with their farewell tour being announced, I definitely want to see them one more time. I have never seen Elton John perform live. I much rather would have seen him back in the early 80s, but I would definitely go see him on his farewell tour.

When I think back to some of the other artists that I've never seen live that I wish they have, it's a pretty long list. One of the bands on the list is the Grateful Dead. I'm not a huge fan of the Grateful Dead, but I like a lot of their music. I would have liked to have seen them just to take in the whole deadhead crowd at the show. I never got a chance to see Tom Petty. Well, actually I had plenty of chances to see him, but for one reason or another the dates just didn't work out for me. Now I wish I changed my plans and went to see him instead.

There are a bunch of other bands that I would like to see before they call it quits. And, being that tomorrow is not a given for any of us, I definitely need to start crossing some of these names off my list.
