St Jude's Children's Hospital in Memphis Tennessee is one of the leading children's cancer centers in the world. They accept the most severely ill kids and treat them for free.

That's right, their families never receive a bill for their treatment, transportation, hotel stays for the family, and even their meals are free. St. Jude's is able to do this because of the donations they receive from individual donors and major corporations. And today, a national restaurant chain is helping them out.

Chili's restaurants are holding their “Donate Profits Day” today, September 30th. If you eat at any Chili's location, including the one on the Vestal Parkway in Vestal, 100% of their profits will be donated to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

We all know cancer sucks. I believe it is even worse when a young kid has to deal with cancer. These kids should be living the normal life of a child, going to school and playing with friends. But instead, they are fighting for their lives with the deadly disease cancer.

St. Jude's is also a research hospital. When the scientists at St. Jude's discover new treatments for cancer and other diseases, they share that information with medical facilities all over the world, free of charge.

So if you were planning on going out for lunch today, or dinner tonight, please think about hitting up Chili's and helping St Jude's help kids with cancer. It is great food for a great cause.
